Diane Kheir

I have trained extensively in:-
osteopathy - assessing the mechanics of the whole
body and in particular, the spine. I use a variety of manipulative
techniques, mostly extremely gentle, to restore a state of balance and
ease to the movement and function of the spine.
I utilise a complex combination of soft
tissue massage, mobilisation and manipulation combined with specialised
exercises, pilates
style remedial core stability and dynamic assessments
to formulate an individual strategy for the patient to recover from
their pain.
cranial osteopathy - a particularly gentle and yet
effective approach which can deal with retained moulding compression. It
Is particularly suitable for fractious babies who have had a traumatic
birth and have been left unsettled with feeding, sleep or colic
problems.
naturopathy - a holistic form of therapy which
addresses the whole person and the factors in their life which are
adversely affecting their health, such as diet, stress, exercise, work
or posture.
posture and ergonomics - I have taken an in-depth
approach to posture and ergonomics within the workplace and will help
you address your long-term postural problems, teaching a few simple, yet
effective techniques which can have wide ranging effects.
life coaching - specialising in health and fitness,
I help you focus on the key areas of change, such as weight loss,
posture, strength and flexibility.
Pilates
-
a mind
body conditioning exercise programme that targets the deep postural
muscles of the abdomen and spine to improve overall central core stability
and posture. The mind and body are brought together to achieve these aims
through the following eight sound principles:
concentration,
centering, breathing, isolation, routine, precision, control and flowing
movement.
gait analysis - a systematic analysis of the way
we walk, which relates to joint wear, postural problems and muscle
imbalances.
