I trained at BCOM
in Osteopathy and Naturopathy and I opened my own practice in
High Wycombe as well as working with two highly experienced and
inspiring Osteopaths. I worked within two GP practices for a
number of years receiving regular referrals from them. I now
work in private practice in Beaconsfield and Marlow.
I have always incorporated exercises into my practice and
gradually integrated Pilates
in to my osteopathic treatments as well as offering back care
Pilates on a one to one basis
as well as a class situation. |

I trained with the Australian Pilates and Physiotherapy
Institute in Matwork, Swiss Ball Exercise, Class Instruction and
Ante and Post Natal Pilates. I hold regular back care classes in
Beaconsfield, Penn and Marlow. I have developed a
special interest in the pelvic floor and its health and effects
on pelvic and lumbar back pain as well as the effects of its
weakness on Stress Urinary Incontinence and Prolapse.
I have attended many courses and have evolved an eclectic mix of
them all. I have developed two,
two day courses which I offer
to Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and Personal
Trainers. I have also developed a
course for midwives for the
pelvic floor, as I believe that Midwives, having a much longer
contact time than Physiotherapists with new mothers, are in the
perfect position to train the pelvic floor and to prevent Stress
Urinary Incontinence and Prolapse.
I have given talks to osteopathic societies and welcome
any invitations to do so, and work regularly with Chek
Practitioners to facilitate clients' rehabilitation.
